MOR. Healthcare is partnering with a leading healthcare provider in Melbourne to recruit an experienced Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) – Theatre Services.

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced perioperative nurse who is passionate about clinical excellence, team development, and delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide operational and clinical leadership across Theatre Services, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.

Location: South East Melbourne

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support the Theatre nursing team
• Oversee day-to-day operations of Theatre Services
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and accreditation requirements
• Manage workforce planning, rostering, and resource allocation
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient safety outcomes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve service objectives

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Extensive perioperative nursing experience
• Previous leadership or management experience within Theatre Services
• Strong operational, people management, and communication skills
• A commitment to continuous improvement and patient-centred care
