Job Description
SLP Opportunities | High Support, Low Burnout | Flexible Clinic & Community Mix
Are you tired of the high-pressure KPI treadmill?
Or are you working community-only roles with little-to-no input from a surrounding MDT?
We are currently representing several established practices across North Melbourne, West Melbourne, and the Mornington Peninsula that actually prioritise clinician well-being and support over volume.
Why these roles stand out:
-
Sustainable Workload: Below industry standard targets - genuine time for prep and reporting.
-
Burnout-Aware Culture: These clinics are led by directors who understand the mental load of a paediatric caseload and actively foster a supportive, stress-aware environment.
-
Investment in You: Access high-quality, structured mentorship (both internal and external) tailored to your specific clinical interests, whether it's AAC, Neuro-affirming practice, or Early Intervention.
-
Total Flexibility: Design a week that works for you. Choose your preferred mix of in-clinic work and community outreach, with full support for WFH and flexible hours.
-
The Team: Join vibrant, multidisciplinary environments where collaboration isn't just a buzzword - it's how the day-to-day works.
The Package:
-
Salary: $90,000 – $115,000 + Super (commensurate with experience).
-
Benefits: Vary - but all include CPD allowances ($1,000+) and travel reimbursement.
-
Caseload: Primarily Paediatric (1–13 years); tailored to your preference/expertise.
About You:
You are a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist who values clinical integrity as much as career growth. Whether you are a "rising star" in your 2nd year or a seasoned Senior looking for a more sustainable pace, you fit the mold if:
-
You Value Quality: You’d rather do a deep dive into an AAC setup or a complex report than rush through back-to-back sessions.
-
You’re Collaborative: You enjoy the water cooler talk and the ability to bounce ideas off OTs, Physios, and fellow SLPs.
-
Qualified & Registered: You hold a degree in Speech Pathology and are eligible for (or hold) Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status with Speech Pathology Australia.
How to Apply:
We know you’re busy, and the best clinicians usually are. We want to make this easy for you.
If you’re curious but not quite ready to hit "Apply," reach out for a confidential, no-pressure chat about which of our current Melbourne locations (North, West, or Peninsula) might suit you best.
