What you'll be doing

  • Scrubbing and scouting across a busy orthopaedic list, including joint replacements, arthroscopies and trauma
  • Working closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and the wider theatre team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
  • Preparing and managing instruments, implants and equipment for orthopaedic procedures
  • Maintaining sterile technique, counts and documentation to hospital and ACORN standards
  • Supporting and sharing your knowledge with colleagues in the team

What you'll bring

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Solid scrub/scout experience in an operating theatre, with orthopaedic experience essential
  • Confidence with orthopaedic instrumentation and implant systems
  • A calm, team-focused approach in a fast-paced theatre environment
  • Commitment to patient safety and high clinical standards
