Optometrist – Advanced Clinical Scope | Coastal Queensland

Are you a clinically-driven Optometrist looking for a high-impact role in a stunning regional setting?

We are recruiting for our client, a thriving coastal practice in Queensland looking for a full-time Optometrist to join their team. This is not a "high-volume/low-touch" environment - they focus on quality therapeutic care and specialist lens fitting, providing you with the equipment and time to practice to the full extent of your scope.

The Role

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care to a diverse patient base. While you will have the support of a dedicated team, this role requires the confidence to work autonomously and provide high-level clinical decision-making.

Additionally, you will play a role in overseeing a new graduate. You won’t be doing this alone - there is a structured support system in place - but they are looking for someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge and fostering professional growth in others.

Key Clinical Focus

  • Therapeutics: High volume of ocular disease management and therapeutic co-management.

  • Specialist Lenses: Fitting and management of specialty contact lenses (Sclerals, Ortho-K, etc.).

  • Advanced Equipment: Access to top-tier diagnostic technology to support your clinical findings.
