Behaviour Support Practitioner | Ballarat | Clinic Based | $90k to $110k + Super

Tired of doing behaviour support from the driver's seat?

Most BSP roles look the same. Long drives, back to back visits, notes written in a car park at 6pm, and a supervisor you email and hope to hear back from.

This one is different, and that is the whole point.

MOR. Healthcare is recruiting a Behaviour Support Practitioner for a well established allied health provider in Ballarat. It is a clinic based role with a genuinely manageable caseload, working with community clients funded through the NDIS, Aged Care and privately.

What makes this role worth a conversation

• You work from the clinic. A proper base, a desk, colleagues, and time in your day that is actually yours.
• A caseload you can do well. Deliberately manageable and largely self directed. Quality over volume is the operating principle here, not a line in a job ad.
• Real supervision. A senior, experienced practitioner on site and available, not a monthly calendar invite. If you are working toward Proficient level, this is how you get there.
• Entry level is genuinely welcome. If you are newly suitable or coming from a psychology, social work, developmental education or allied health background, you will be supported properly rather than thrown in.
• Professional development is funded and encouraged, not grudgingly approved.
• Salaried or subcontractor. Your call, and the flexibility that comes with it.
• Flexible hours, EAP access, and a team that people actually stay in.
• Ballarat. A real city with a real community, forty five minutes from Melbourne on the train, and a mortgage you can look at without flinching.

What you will be doing

Functional behaviour assessments, writing and reviewing behaviour support plans, training and coaching support teams, and working alongside families and stakeholders to reduce restrictive practices and improve quality of life. Adult and paediatric work across community settings.

What you need

• A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent. Psychology, social work, occupational therapy, speech pathology, developmental education, behavioural science or similar.
• NDIS Commission suitability as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, at any level, or eligibility and willingness to apply. Supervision for your application will be provided.
• A current driver's licence.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check and Police Check, or the ability to obtain them.

Please note: AHPRA registration is not required for this role.

Paediatric Occupational Therapist | Sensory & Movement Based | Western Sydney, South West Sydney & Inner West

I work with the best movement based paediatric clinics across Western Sydney, South West Sydney, and the Inner West, including areas around Parramatta, Liverpool, Bankstown, Campbelltown, Fairfield, and Strathfield. I look for the ones with the best gyms and best culture, because kids who need support deserve resources and supported clinicians.

No silos on wheels - real collaboration, real movement, real culture, real leadership.

Sensory and movement based practice

These movement based clinics treat sensory processing, motor coordination, praxis, emotional regulation, and daily living skills. Each has a purpose-built sensory gym with swings, climbing, and movement space. Therapy is child-led, strengths-based, play-based, and movement based. Sessions use swings, climbing, heavy work, and play to build regulation and independence that carries into home, school, and community life.

The role

As the paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Assess sensory processing, motor skills, and participation
• Plan and run sensory and movement based individual and group sessions
• Deliver Ayres Sensory Integration and DIR Floortime informed intervention
• Work across clinic, home, school, and community settings (location based on child's needs!)
• Write reports and partner with families, educators, and other disciplines

The support

• Structured 1:1 mentoring with a gradual caseload build
• Dedicated admin support for bookings and paperwork
• Regular supervision and a PD budget
• A 4-day week option with realistic, therapist-designed targets.
• Proactive burnout prevention strategies -  ask the hard questions so you've got answers.

About you

• Registered Occupational Therapist (AHPRA) with a real interest in paediatric, sensory and movement based practice
• New to Ayres Sensory Integration or DIR Floortime? That's okay. A passion for kids and play-based intervention is a must
• Curious, reflective, and team-minded
• New graduates and early career OTs are welcome and fully supported

Requirements

• OT qualification and AHPRA registration
• Working With Children Check and National Police Check
• Driver's licence and vehicle access
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one

Salary

$75,000 to $115,000 per year, depending on experience and the clinic you match with. Potentially higher for Team Leader roles.

There is genuine opportunity to develop specialist skills over time or move into leadership as the organisation grows, supported by structured onboarding, monthly peer supervision, internal training, and substantial professional development.

Behaviour Support Practitioner / Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner
Regional Victoria | Within 1–2 hours of Melbourne | $90K–$110K

Looking for a Behaviour Support role with genuine scope, not just a caseload? This opportunity is best suited to an entry to senior practitioner — ideally someone at Proficient level, or a strong Core practitioner who is close to stepping up and wants the support to get there.

This is a blended role combining behaviour support, plan review, quality input, and stakeholder engagement. You’ll also have the opportunity to begin supervising Core practitioners, so it suits someone who enjoys mentoring, relationship-building, and broader service impact, not just direct clinical work.

Based in Regional Victoria and within easy reach of Melbourne, this role is a strong fit for someone wanting a lifestyle change without giving up access to a major city. The service is looking for a practitioner who can grow into more responsibility over time, with salary of $90K–$110K.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver behaviour support across a varied caseload.

• Review plans and contribute to clinical quality.

• Support or begin supervising Core practitioners.

• Represent the service with stakeholders in a collaborative, relationship-led way.

About you

• Likely around 2–4 years’ experience in behaviour support.

• Comfortable working independently and keen to keep developing.

• Interested in moving into supervision, review, and broader service responsibilities.

• A strong communicator who values practical outcomes and good relationships.

Why this role

• Regional Victoria lifestyle with Melbourne access.

• Broader scope than a standard BSP role.

• Genuine room to grow without needing to be fully senior already.

• A good fit for someone ready for the next step, not someone looking for a purely junior role.

Behaviour Support Practitioner / Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner
Regional Victoria | Within 1–2 hours of Melbourne | $90K–$110K

Looking for a Behaviour Support role with more scope than just holding a caseload?

This opportunity is best suited to an entry to senior practitioner - ideally someone already working at Proficient level, or a very strong Core practitioner who is close to stepping up.

The role combines clinical work with plan review, early supervision, and stakeholder engagement. It’s a good fit for someone who enjoys quality practice, mentoring others, and representing a service well in the community.

What’s involved:

• Delivering behaviour support services across a regional Victoria catchment.

• Reviewing plans and contributing to clinical quality.

• Supporting or beginning to supervise Core practitioners.

• Representing the organisation with stakeholders and referral partners in a relationship-led way, rather than hard sales.

Why this role stands out:

• Regional lifestyle within easy reach of Melbourne.

• Salary of $90K–$110K.

• Broader scope than a standard BSP role, with leadership exposure without needing to be deeply senior.

About you:

• Likely around 2–4 years’ experience in behaviour support, though fit and capability matter more than a strict year count.

• Comfortable working independently and keen to keep developing.

• Interested in stepping into more responsibility across supervision, review, and stakeholder work.
